governor piyush scam's first assignment: get rid of electronic voting machines!

**updated 8:17 am cdt monday 22 october 2007**

wst... received the following email from louisiana libertarian gubernatorial candidate t. lee horne, iii this morning:

I continue reading and researching the Sec of State web site and see that
though all precincts were reporting in, "all reporting" does not mean the
results are final. Final is days later after all clerical errors are
corrected. The numbers are falling in to the correct places so I believe
that part.

As to other reported errors that occurred, some impartial group needs to
look into why a problem that the Sec. of State's office staff says was a
known problem was not resolved, fixed, or the election postponed until the
problem was fixed.

T. Lee Horne, III
Candidate for Governor of Louisiana 2007

----ORIGINAL POST----
Lee Horne and his friends all voted for him in his own voting precinct, yet only one vote was registered for him.
In Bunkie, His campaign manager's family voted for him, yet only two vote registered for him.... and there are more reports coming in like this...

I'd say its more than a rumor, its a dirty lil' secret no one is talking about.

below is an email I received from Lee Horne, according to him the Sec. of State office admitted knowing about the problem, well if there is a problem like this how can the election be validated? Bobby Jindal may not have gotten a majority!

Mr. Horne's email is included if you need to contact him regarding this information.

The election didn't go well. I received a few reports, one from my campaign
manager, that the electronic machines were switching votes from me to
Jindal. When he called to Sec of State and finally got someone he was told
it is a known problem and they don't know what to do about it.

Other people contacted me. They would vote for me, then vote the rest of the
ballot, go back to check their votes and the vote for me was changed before
they recorded so they canceled and revoted.

In Franklin, only 1 person officially voted for me in my precinct. Not
likely as I voted for me and I am sure of 3 others.

In Bunkie, 3 people in one precinct voted for me and only 2 votes showed up
for me.

How many other votes for other candidates were switched to B. Jindal? But
hey, it is Louisiana, what can you expect?
