CALGARY/AM770CHQR - Nearly a year and a half later, police have issued a second public warning about a dangerous U.S. fugitive who may be hiding out in Alberta
.
In late spring 2006, police had information to believe 48-year-old Richard Lee McNair was travelling between Alberta and B.C., after escaping custody in Pollock, Louisiana.

He was serving three life sentences for murder, attempted murder and burglary.
Police now say recent information suggests McNair is currently in the Calgary and southern Alberta area.

He's described as 6" tall, 210lbs with blue eyes, brown hair and scars on his wrists and knees.
But police also say McNair has been known to alter his appearance.
He's considered armed and dangerous.
