sts-121 shuttle launch aborted

todays shuttle launch has been aborted due to weather. nasa is saying that the weather is acceptable for launch however, if there is need for an (after launch) emergency return it could be dangerous due to anvil clouds within 20 miles of the return landing site. next launch window will be 3:26 pm edt (2:26 pm cdt) sunday 02 july 2006.

  1. I pray this mission goes well. Interesting that it will now be on 4 July. Also, did you notice NORAD on heightened alert?
