today, the times-picayune informs us that rino state senator julie quinn is a candidate for an open seat on the jefferson parish, la. council.

let us all hope and pray that senator quinn is successful in her quest for this post so that in the future -- her nutty ideas will be confined to the municipal limits of jefferson parish.

alarmingly, the tp also says that should senator quinn win, that state representative tim burns is considering running for her state senate seat.

tim burns is of course the nutter, who, when running for congress to replace piyush "bobby" jindal, actually stated on his campaign website that "constitutional doctrines are more designed to protect criminals rather than victims."
