the city of alexandria, louisiana's alexander fulton hotel is projected to operate at a loss of $38,000 for september 2009. the city is also reducing the hotel's payroll. it seems the city has been using a temp agency (which one?) to fill jobs.

the city is prepared to lose up to $50,000 of the taxpayers money per month for six months or $300,000 whichever comes first.
