it was a monday. we are 200 miles (322 kilometres) north of new orleans the sky was overcast a steady breeze blowed all day. we didnt receive one drop of rain from katrina.

on sunday 04 september 2005 the alexandria, louisiana daily town talk published a story titled "red cross bureaucracy causing frustrations" we sent the url to matt drudge and he linked to the story right away. that night drudge read the entire article during his radio program, this was before our power.mp3 recorder days so we dont have the audio.
