john georges turns down ray nagin endorsement

this morning new orleans area activist, rev. raymond brown on the jeff crouere radio program said that orleans mayor ray nagin recently offered his endorsement to independent candidate for governor john georges who turned it down. georges reportedly responded "we need your troops not you."
