glen beard appointment to the alexandria fire and police civil service board delayed

this evening mayor roy asked the alexandria city council to delay the resolution appointing glen beard to the alexandria fire and police civil service board. the mayor said that it was "nothing negative" but that mr. beard "might be accepting a different appointment at some point, we just want to delay [item number] twenty-eight."
