wild bees
for years we've been reading stories like this recent one in the london daily mail: "bee numbers plummet as billions of colonies die across the world."
we're not saying that reports are wrong but we've had a "colony" as the brits say, of wild bees that took up residence in our "garden" since at least the summer of 2004.
this morning we shot the below video of them:
right now it looks as if there arent large numbers of bees there; we understand that many naturally die off in winter.
hopefully, this summer will be like past summers and soon all those spaces that you see will be covered over in hundreds or perhaps thousands of bees.
