Ford's Forgotten Eulogy
we too wonder how many millions of taxpayer dollars are being spent transporting this guys corpse around the country. ford was never even an elected president. The East Timor Massacre

Here we go again, making a famous personage (President Ford) into some larger than life American hero His minister sobbed, "He and Betty are the folks Heaven was made for"others lauded his 'healing of the nation', 'a gentle, kind man of great integrity'. Blah blah blah. Now that he's dead he has the 'courage' to leave a written note about the being against the Iraq (invasion) war.
For the next week, (much like the Reagan debacle) we'll see his body dragged all over the nation and moved from pillar to post in Washington such is the pageantry that surrounds our favorite occupation in this country death.
What's missing in all these poignant tales is that Ford gave us Cheney and Rumsfeld (on his White House staff) and appointed Bush the first, as head of the CIA. Also missing in the sappy news stories; was this kind, gentle, healer's visit to Indonesia, with Kissinger in 1975. This visit (unreported in U.S. press) by Ford and Kissinger gave the green light to demonic President Suharto of Indonesia to invade East Timor; which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of East Timor landless peasants (pictures much too sickening to show). This was the worst massacre of the 20th century. The sin of these lowly peasants, as in any land invaded, is the wealth they possessed in their resources of oil, nickel, gold, and cooper.
American and European consortium's divided up the nickel reserves. America, France and Japan got the forests. The big prize, East Timor's gold (largest in world) and its copper went to American giant (Kissinger on its board of directors) Freeport McMoran. These mines are now guarded by Indonesian troops. America supplied the weapons that slaughtered the multitudes of peasants; through both Republican and Democratic regimes in the U.S.Reagan, Carter, Clinton, Bush, and yes the 'healer' Ford, all contributed multi millions in arms/planes/helicopters ----
I don't suppose they'll be any reading of the 'new evidence' of President Suharto's meeting with Ford and Kissinger in 1975 (day before slaughter began). Since there has been zero (maybe a few lines) of this horrific massacre over the years it's not surprising that few will care today too bad, because this greed is repeating itself in Iraq (greater region) for the love of oil this time..National Security Archive scan down until you see China & East Asia - Ford's real EULOGY: EXTERNAL LINK

3rd circuit affirms gold-weems appeal
GOLD, WEEMS, BRUSER, SUES & RUNDELLin a ruling that reinforces the notion that louisiana's legal system is dominated and controlled by a few powerful lawyers and law firms the third circuit court of appeals not unexpectantly has sided with alexandria's gold-weems law firm in the appeal of dr. tommie mack granger.
VERSUS
TOMMIE MACK GRANGER
Date Filed: 07/07/2006
Trial Court: Rapides
Ninth Judicial District Court
Trial Court Number: 205,470
Trial Judge: Hon. Harry Fred Randow
Opinion Rendered on: 12/29/06 - Majority Opinion Rendered
The Opinion was Published
The Opinion - Affirmed
Opinion Panel:
Hon. Ulysses Gene Thibodeaux - Writing
Hon. J. David Painter
Hon. James T. Genovese
gold-weems originally sued dr. granger for $80,000.00 [eur 60,630] for services which dr. granger disputed. dr. granger claimed bill padding and demanded a jury trial. gold-weems then promptly reduced their demand to $49,999 [eur 37,893] in order to avoid a jury trial probably because they knew that a panel of regular people would not go along with their scheme ~ but a bunch of judges would.
"judge" randow even went to far as to close the courtroom to the public during the trial and even ruled that the local media the alexandria daily town talk couldnt even publish news of the trial or even consult with their own attorney about his "order."
meanwhile, at least 16 people over at the middleton victims website which have alleged the same thing by gold-weems as dr. granger "that they experienced grossly excessive billing and inadequate or incomplete representation in their divorce proceedings." cant even get any relief by way of an investigation from chuck plattsmier and the so called louisiana attorney disciplinary board.
the third circuit appeals court even had the gall to fine dr. granger an extra $4,000 [eur 3,031] to pay for gold-weems appeal costs. louisiana's legal system what a joke.

"bong hits 4 jesus"
talk about making a federal case out of something...heres a silly lawsuit that should have never been filed much less made its way all the way to the united states supreme court. it seems that there are busy body school teachers and administrators everywhere. in 2002 the olympic torch was passing through juneau, alaska on its way to the winter games, located that year at salt lake city, utah. apparantly this was big news in juneau it was being televised and everything. so, a juneau douglas high school senior joseph frederick got the bright idea to make a fourteen foot [4.2meters] long banner proclaiming "bong hits 4 jesus" which at the time was a popular catchphrase, in hopes of being seen on television. however, when mr. fredericks principal deborah morse, (whom we must assume is one of those barney fife-esque do-gooder types} instead of letting mr. frederick go ahead and make an ass of himself on local television decided to walk over and crumple his banner and suspended him from school for ten days.
QUESTIONS PRESENTED1. Whether the First Amendment allows public schools to prohibit students from displaying messages promoting the use of illegal substances at school-sponsored, faculty supervised events.
2. Whether the Ninth Circuit departed from established principles of qualified immunity in holding that a public high school principal was liable in a damages lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 when, pursuant to the school district’s policy against displaying messages promoting illegal substances, she disciplined a student for displaying a large banner with a slang marijuana reference at a school-sponsored, faculty supervised event.

big changes at cenlamar blog
For Immediate Release
CenLamar, an interactive weblog on life in Central Louisiana, has moved. Earlier today, blog operator Lamar White, Jr. announced major changes to CenLamar, including an expanded nightlife and music section, free classified advertising, and a team of new blog contributors. The site, formerly located at www.cenlamar.blogspot.com, has moved to www.cenlamar.wordpress.com.
White created CenLamar in March 2006. Since then, the site has received over 100,000 hits and has generated over 8,000 user-contributed comments.
During Alexandria's recent mayoral election, CenLamar became a resource for citizens interested in the issues. "It took off in unexpected ways," White said. "The notion of instant publication meant that the blog became the most up-to-date news source (covering the mayor's race)."
CenLamar also featured a popular and somewhat controversial discussion about Bolton High School. "The blog received 1,000 comments in a week about Bolton, and I think, in some small way, it may have inspired some changes."
The new features, White believes, will allow even more community involvement.
"Free classified advertising is already enjoyed by people in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, through services like Craig's List. This will enable Central Louisianans to have a free marketplace to advertise jobs and merchandise," said White.
The nightlife section, White says, was created in response to the needs of local event promoters and club owners. "I can't take all the credit," he said. "They wanted a one-stop-shop to freely advertise upcoming events, and frankly, there wasn't a place for Alexandrians to find out what's going on in Alexandria's emerging music scene." The nightlife section will be updated by a group of local businesspeople and events promoters.
White also plans to open the blog up to a team of writers and contributors. "Eventually, I hope this will lead to the creation of a real, independent press in Central Louisiana, and that can't happen unless there are a variety of voices," he says.
The new site was launched on Dec 20, 2006. Its first article is an interview with John Schneider, the new owner of the Hotel Bentley.

yesterday evening, the washington post published the following story about how president bush plans to increase the troop levels in iraq. meanwhile editor & publisher posted the results of a cnn poll in which its revealed that only eleven percent (11%) of the people support sending more troops. there is something extremely wrong when only ten or eleven percent of the people dictate to the majority the policy of this country.
Bush to Expand Size of Military
By Peter Baker
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, December 19, 2006; 4:18 PM
President Bush said today that he plans to expand the size of the U.S. military to meet the challenges of a long-term global war against terrorists, a response to warnings that sustained deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan have stretched the armed forces to near the breaking point.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Bush said he has instructed newly sworn-in Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates to report back to him with a plan to increase ground forces. The president gave no estimates about how many troops may be added but indicated that he agreed with suggestions in the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill that the current military is stretched too thin to cope with the demands placed on it.
"I'm inclined to believe that we do need to increase our troops -- the Army, the Marines," Bush said in the Oval Office session. "And I talked about this to Secretary Gates and he is going to spend some time talking to the folks in the building, come back with a recommendation to me about how to proceed forward on this idea."
The president's decision comes at a time when he is rethinking his strategy in Iraq and considering, among other options, a short-term surge in troop levels to try to secure violence-torn Baghdad. The Joint Chiefs of Staff are resisting the idea during internal debates in part out of the conviction that it will further strain already-pressed forces.
A substantial military expansion will take years and would not be meaningful in the near term in Iraq. But it would begin to address the growing alarm among commanders about the state of the armed forces. Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker, the Army's chief of staff, warned Congress last week that the active-duty Army "will break" under the strain of today's war-zone rotations. Former secretary of state Colin L. Powell, a retired chairman of the Joint Chiefs, said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that "the active Army is about broken."
The Army has already temporarily increased its size from 482,000 active-duty soldiers in 2001 to 507,000 today and soon to 512,000. But the Army wants to make that 30,000-soldier increase permanent and then grow an additional 7,000 soldiers or more per year. The Army estimates that every 10,000 additional soldiers will cost about $1.2 billion a year.
The incoming chairman of the House Armed Services Committee spoke out forcefully today for increasing the size of the Army and Marines, noting that their leaders describe the services as "stretched and strained." "We're going to have to pay attention to this," Rep. Ike Skelton (D-Mo.) told reporters. Saying the two services are "bleeding," he added, "I think we have to apply the tourniquet and strengthen the forces. I think that will be a major part of our work."
In describing his decision today, Bush tied it to the broader struggle against Islamic extremists around the world rather than Iraq specifically. "It is an accurate reflection that this ideological war we're in is going to last for a while and that we're going to need a military that's capable of being able to sustain our efforts and to help us achieve peace," he said.
Asked about Powell's assessment, Bush chose a different term. "I haven't heard the word 'broken,' " he said, "but I've heard the word, 'stressed.' . . . We need to reset our military. There's no question the military has been used a lot. And the fundamental question is, will Republicans and Democrats be able to work with the administration to assure our military and the American people that we will position our military so that it is ready and able to stay engaged in a long war?"
Bush said he has not yet made a decision about a new strategy for Iraq and would wait for Gates to make a trip to Iraq to assess the situation for himself. "I need to talk to him when he gets back," the president said. "I've got more consultations to do with the national security team, which will be consulting with other folks. And I'm going to take my time to make sure that the policy, when it comes out, the American people will see that we . . . have got a new way forward."
Among the options under review by the White House is sending 15,000 to 30,000 more troops to Iraq for six to eight months. The idea has the support of important figures such as Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and has been pushed by some inside the White House, but the Joint Chiefs have balked because they believe advocates have not adequately defined the mission and are pushing it mainly because of limited alternatives, according to U.S. officials.
The chiefs have warned that a short-term surge could lead to more attacks by al-Qaeda, provide more targets for Sunni insurgents and fuel the jihadist appeal for more foreign fighters to flock to Iraq to attack U.S. troops, according to the officials, who described the review on condition of anonymity because it is not complete.
Bush would not discuss such ideas in detail but said "all options are viable." He said he also wanted the American and Iraqi people to know that he would press the Iraqis to do more to secure their own country. "We expect the Iraqi people to continue making hard choices and doing hard work necessary to succeed," he said, "and our job is to help them do so."

alexandria town talk prints pro-zionist views as slanted news
talk about a slanted news story. on saturday 16 december 2006 the town talk printed a so called news story by tom bonnette captioned "Rabbi: Iranian president should be taken seriously." this "news" article is mostly b.s. because the reporter doesnt even bother to try and give any alternative views whatsoever.
for instance, mr. bonnette, naturally, doesnt pass up the opportunity to mention that david duke attended "the holocaust - global vision" however, mr. bonnette fails to mention that it was also attended by a delegation of rabbi's and torah scholars from neturei karta including rabbi yisroel dovid weiss, rabbi yisroel feldman and r. aharon cohen and that all three gave speeches to the holocaust conference.
one can only conclude that the town talk isnt interested or capable of fairness and truth in its reporting because by printing this propaganda under the guise of news it is promoting the myth that all jews are zionists when this simply isnt the case.
the fact is, is that the alexandria daily town talk practices a form of anti-semitism when it gives voice only to zionism which is an atheistic, nationalistic movement totally opposed to biblical (torah) judaism. further evidence that the town talk is a zionist tool is by their continued printing of patently false "your mail" letters as chronicled by the cenlamar blog here and here.
the "news" story by tom bonnette ends with a quote from the talmud which is interesting because the talmud also calls mary the mother of jesus a whore and claims that jesus christ himself is a heretic and is in hell boiling in a cauldron of "hot semen". Gittin 57a
dont be deceived the "enemy" isnt some muslim goat herders in palestine. the enemy is according to rabbi's and torah scholars -- world zionism.

illegal aliens have more rights than american citizens
C. The border patrol cases are inapplicable
In each of the cases relied upon by the district court, we found that, under the factors set forth in United States v. Brigoni-Ponce, 422 U.S. 873, 884-85, 95 S. Ct. 2574, 2582 (1975), for determining whether a roving patrol stop is justified, the mere slouching or “hunkering down” of auto occupants did not warrant a stop. Orona-Sanchez, 648 F.2d at 1042; Pena-Cantu, 639 F.2d at 1229-30; Pacheco, 617 F.2d 86-87.
The test set forth in Brigoni-Ponce does not apply in non-border patrol cases because the slouching down of an occupant of a vehicle does not have the same import outside the border context.
U.S. District Judge James Brady threw out the evidence in January, deciding that while it was OK for detectives to approach the men with the intent of advising them of the apartment complex’s loitering policy, they crossed the line during the search.
The judge cited five rulings by the 5th Circuit that found “slumping,” “slouching,” “ducking,” “sitting low” or “scrambling” to avoid detection does not justify a search.
But 5th Circuit Judges Thomas Reavley, Carl Stewart and Edith Brown Clement write that those decisions apply to border patrol cases only. click here to read more from the advocate.
about the only thing the fifth circuit did right in this case was prohibiting it from being cited:
*Pursuant to 5TH CIR. R. 47.5, the Court has determined that this opinion should not be published and is not precedent except under the limited circumstances set forth in 5TH CIR. R.47.5.4.but then again there is no need to make this opinion a precedent now is there since the judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys know exactly how the fifth circuit will rule in the future in similar cases.

eustace mullins is a protege of ezra pound, who was, according to mr. mullins and we have no reason to doubt him, the dominant intellectual of the twentieth century. four of pound's proteges have been given the nobel prize for literature after pound edited their work. the first one was t.s. eliot. pound first edited eliot's poem "the wasteland" in paris in 1920 and "the wasteland" went on to become the most famous poem of the 20th century. next was ernest hemingway. ezra pound made hemingways prose very crisp; according to mr. mullins, hemingway's stellar background was as a hack writer for a newspaper in saskatchewan, canada called the moose jaw times herald. next was william butler yeats whos stuffy victorian poetry horrified pound. pound got him out of that and into modern poetry. pounds fourth protege was james joyce who wrote "ulysses" which pound edited and that book went on to become the most famous book of the twentieth century.
pound never won the nobel prize because (again, according to mr. mullins) he never cultivated the establishment. in the 1930s and '40s to get anywhere you really had to be an outspoken, active pro communist. "so of course he (pound) was totally ignored by everybody except the public. the public liked his work."
when mr. mullins met ezra pound he sent mullins to the library of congress to find out what he could about the federal reserve system. mr. mullins says that he really has a knack for research and that he found out the entire history of the federal reserve system which he says is "the greatest swindle ever known in history." click here to start the video at the point where mr. mullins starts to explain the federal reserve system or click the link to watch the video in full. eustace mullins book "secrets of the federal reserve" is also available to read by clicking here.

city of alexandria releases coughlin-saunders atty letter
a few days ago the city of alexandria released the following letter to the alexandria daily town talk and you may follow the links to download from the town talk's website your own copy. according to the town talk the coughlin-saunders performing arts center, (more information here via alex-retro) opened over two years ago and was built for $8,200,000 [6.2m eur] with public (taxpayers) and private money and immediately the roof began leaking in heavy rainstorms. the city of alexandria (taxpayers) continues to pay for maintenance and for lighting. the city of alexandria taxpayers have also paid for two studies to find out why the building leaks.
the city administration, city attorney and newly elected mayor jacques roy refuse to release the most recent leak study done by quick and associates citing the louisiana public records law and [mayor] roy said those "with interests adverse" to the city protecting taxpayer money must be prevented from seeing the report now.
however, with the cities release of the below letter that voids that argument because this letter is a summary of what is contained in the report.
