wsls meteorologist jamey singleton was "dismissed" by interim general manager shane moreland for violating the stations "morals clause." how ridiculous is this? has media general and mr. moreland took a look lately at the garbage that nbc and their station(s) broadcast?
in a statement (see link) moreland said:
"Singleton broke the morals clause of his contract, which stipulates that he must not be involved in anything deemed "offensive or out of line with community standards."
so our question is how can a company force someone to sign a morals clause when the very things that they are broadcasting to the community would appear to be a violation of the same morals clause? how hypocritical, how ludicrous.
