gannett/town talk sits on bayou classic tickets scandal records

wst... has learned that on tuesday, 27 november 2007 gannett/the town talk and tom bonnette requested public records from the greater alexandria economic development authority (GAEDA) and the england authority, for "a list of gaeda employees, board members, and anyone else who attended events related to the bayou classic who received money from gaeda to do so." gannett/the town talk and mr. bonnette also requested "receipts showing expenditures from the event." gaeda replied to gannett/the town talk and mr. bonnette's request the very next day, wednesday, 28 november 2007. the bayou classic was held on saturday 24 november 2007.

gannett/the town talk and mr. bonnette's request came to light upon the much later public records request of a local blogger and attorney gregory aymond.

mr. aymonds public records request resulted in his uncovering very likely taxpayer waste, fraud and abuse involving at least three if not four or more local governmental entities and the people that control them, approaching at least if not upwards of $40,000.

in this email, local banker wayne denley and member of the england authority is shown to be asking permission to offer one of the purloined bayou classic tickets to the same town talk reporter, tom bonnette. hmmmmm.

and you still honestly think that gannett/the town talk, media general//kalb are not part of the criminal network?
