according to the announcement from their website, kovanda's czech band will perform at the 2008 czech heritage days festival at libuse, louisiana, saturday 15 march 2008.
In March of every year the Czech Communities of Libuse and Kolin have put on a festival. It functions more as one large family reunion rather than a public festival, though the public is invited. Czech foods are served and Czech music is performed. Often Czechs from Texas or even the Czech Republic have performed. The Czech language is spoken by visitors and locals alike. ~ source
