sb87: cenla dems herbert dixon and chris roy jr vote to eliminate state income tax but rino rethuglican chris hazel says no!

although in rep. hazel's case you really cant be sure that he understood the question.

sb87 is the much ballyhooed bill by state senator buddy shaw to reduce the stelly tax and give louisianaians a much needed significant break on personal income taxes.

sometime today sb87 was being debated on the state house floor when representative walker hines offered an amendment (see house floor amendment #4040) to over time abolish the state income tax - 22 representatives voted for rep. hines amendment:


sb87 eventually passed the house, less rep. hines amendment and now goes back to the senate. click the link to read all about sb87 from the state legislature website.
