louisiana state attorney general candidate royal alexander was on the moon griffon radio program this morning. moon is off til thursday, so sitting in for him was his brain and sinister side-kick: ruth ulrich.
ms. ulrich sets mr. alexander up for the sexual harassment lawsuit portion of the interview by playing dumb:
"um i remember before uh you left d.c. actually right before congressman alexander was reelected that there was something that came up there was a lawsuit that uh that was taken to the press by a plaintiffs attorney about ten - twelve days something like that right before the election. would you explain what that was about?"mr. alexander following ms. ulrich's rather not so subtle lead reiterates that yes the lawsuit was "sprung" on the office ten or twelve days before the election and was brought "by a young lady who had left our office the previous may." mr. alexander further tries to explain it all away while curiously always referring to the lawsuit in the past tense: "one part she alleged was there was an unfair wage claim...another part of the lawsuit was that felt she should have been paid overtime when she worked for us...another part involved the fact that the house bank apparently held on to some of her money longer than she thought that it should have and the fourth part of the claim was actually a sexual harassment claim against me, which is false." then manages to work in a swipe at "vicious" nancy pelosi suggesting that the whole thing was politically motivated. uh huh.
we see over on the rapides parish republican women's club blog they have a recent post (see link) announcing an upcoming fundraiser for louisiana state attorney general candidate royal alexander.
now for our non louisiana readers you have to understand: number 1. this is louisiana and number 2. yes this is that royal alexander. the one that was involved along with his then boss, congressman rodney alexander, in the mark foley congressional page cyber-sex scandal. also the same royal alexander who is being sued by elizabeth scott. ms. scott claims that royal alexander "engaged in a course of misconduct" that included "inappropriate sex-based comments, ogling and touching" and "sexual advances" see daily king fish diary # 56.
most normal people would be so embarrassed after being tied to not one but two back-to-back sexual misconduct scandals that they would have disappeared for a couple of years, got an honest job, kept their noses clean and then reemerged to perhaps run for a political office. however, your average louisianaian political type is not a normal individual. here in louisiana we have royal alexander running for state attorney general of all things. how narcissistic is that?
whats even worse is that this is the person that the louisiana republican party chooses to get behind and run for attorney general. if louisiana's republican party was worth a damn (which they are not) the person they would have all got behind and ran for attorney general would have been monroe attorney paul hurd.

FYI, the attorney that filed this frivalous suit has been disbarred and spent time in jail for aggravated reckless homicide. Don’t you think if there were any basis to these charges an attorney with a better reputation would have taken the case? I personally know Royal and have found him to have outstanding character, intellect; and, best of all, common sense. Even better, he is literate and can string a sentence together in an “off the cuff” TV interview far better than the Foti-clones populating some of this blog. And to think these bloggers even had time to consider, gather, and type in their thought (yes, thought; thoughts would be giving them too much credit).

however, an investigation by central la politics blog, a blog produced by a longtime licensed attorney, finds that mr. alexander wasnt even licensed to practice law until 09 april 1998. furthermore, a search of lawyer legal databases which central la politics is privy to, reveals that mr. alexander has handled only one case in the courts of appeal "in which he had only a supporting role'" and that mr. alexander has "absolutely no criminal experience."
mr. alexander appears to be just another political hack who will shamelessly seize upon any opportunity upon which he very likely knows nothing about in an attempt to make political hay.

so far the bese board has royally screwed up louisiana's public school systems by amongst other things instituting so called "leap 21 and gee 21 tests" this "teaching the test" methodology has predictably resulted in the schools sole mission to teach freely, being usurped by unknown bureaucrats who write the tests to control and manipulate what and how children are taught from kindergarten through graduation. they do this quite easily in how they choose to focus the tests from year to year, grade by grade, so if they dont want something taught they simply leave out mention of it on the test and the reverse is true too..."sorry we cant teach that because its not on the test and we cant waste valuable time teaching something thats not on the test now can we?...we gotta get these scores up-n-shit"
we dont even need teachers anymore just stand-ins who can follow an outline. this all works part and parcel with what is called outcome based education; this is how entire generations are brainwashed quickly and efficiently. the state of louisiana thinks this is all a good idea.
now along comes ruth ulrich. anyone thats ever listened to moon griffon's radio program automatically knows that ms. ulrich is the very last person that should have anything to do whatsoever with children and education. ms. ulrich is one of, if not the most, unashamedly lyingest republican and george bush propaganda bullshit shills and operatives on the air.
