a year ago today (see link) richard lee mcnair escaped from the federal prison at pollock, louisiana and made a star (an internet star at least) of himself and ball police officer carl bordelon. our copy of the mcnair - bordelon video has so far been viewed 104,888 times. its been downloaded 1,122 times from google video. no one has ever explained how mcnair made his way from central louisiana all the way across the united states and into canada! additionally right after mcnair escaped the u.s. marshal's office swore up and down that mcnair had help from locals and that arrests were immenient yet no one was ever arrested for aiding mcnair.
