A letter from John Schneider, president of Cyntreniks Hospitality Company, LLC, sent Monday to Mayor Jacques Roy and City Council members states that the company would request a third extension for a closing date for the purchase from hotel owner Bob Dean only “if we were confident that a true private/public partnership was being considered ... where both parties share the risks and rewards of bringing back the Bentley.”kalb.com has the complete letter here and the city of alexandria's response here. our response is good bye and good riddance to this bunch of baton rouge con artists they can go and jump in the same lake as the board of directors of st. francis cabrini hospital.

Schneider writes that the deal still can be saved if Alexandria ponies up money to restore the hotel to its former grandeur but will be “permanently halted” without public money. town talk link
