when we checked out the dead pelican this morning and saw a story "e-mails show a pattern of violations" linked from there we knew a post would be shortly forthcoming from the central la politics blog. you see the blogger over there has been having a time getting similar emails from the city of pineville, louisiana. pineville's mayor, clarence fields and the city attorney and federal court judge wannabe, jimmy "the wizard" faircloth have tried every dirty, underhanded trick in the book including suing the requestor in ninth judicial district court to stop him from attempting to get copies of certain city of pineville emails.

a lot of people say that new orleans is louisiana's capital of corruption but the truth is that per capita central louisiana is just as corrupt and probably more corrupt than new orleans ever was.
