KALB sold

Media General To Sell Its WMBB-TV, KALB/NALB-TV To Hoak Media -

3/14/2008 1:29:09 PM Media General Inc. (MEG) said that it agreed to sell its ABC television station WMBB in Panama City, Fla., and its dual NBC/CBS station KALB/NALB in Alexandria, La to Hoak Media Corporation. Terms were not disclosed.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second or third quarter of 2008.
