As of August 13, 2007 Democrat Commissioner of Agriculture Bob Odom is still under indictment and still having to use his campaign contributions to pay his criminal defense team.

Odom’s case is before the First Circuit Court Of Appeals where he is charged with public bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and felony theft.

East Baton Rouge prosecutors feel Odom will be convicted on the evidence.
