'wirenut' is on to something
today's gannett/town talk published a 'your mail' (see link) written by an alexandrian named pat ladner. mr. ladner wrote about how "unbelieveable" it is that "rapides regional medical center and christus st. francis cabrini hospitals continue to build additions to their hospitals at the same locations."
mr. ladner writes that he lived in shreveport, la. for fifty years before returning home to alexandria, la. and that the willis knighton hospital has locations south, east and in bossier city, la.
mr. ladner reminds us that both rapides regional and cabrini already have severe parking problems and that it would have been logical to build elsewhere.
to which town talk commenter wirenut wrote:
THE ONLY WAY THIS WILL HAPPEN IS IF THE BENTLEY AND CONVENTION CENTER BECOME OUTPATIENT CLINICS.
