the first video in the playlist is a kalb (alexandria, la) rebroadcast of a ksla (shreveport) ben wolf news report.in it rep. norton says that since the loony looziana legislature "has always been a joke." then the performance on the state house floor by her god son -- hurricane chris, is just business as usual.
we cant argue with that reasoning! it aired near the top of their 29 june 10 pm broadcast. we couldnt find the original vid on ksla.com.
the other two videos are news reports from last week. one from ktbs (shreveport) and one from wafb (baton rouge).

so we were on c-span's youtube channel, viewing their clip of the united states house of representatives moment of silence for michael joe jackson, which is about as absurd as the recent loony looziana legislature's hurricane chris rap concert.
anyway, congresswoman diane watson in her opening comment at around :30 seconds into the vid, says that "to the country and the world, a young man has left earth but now resides in eastra" then quickly corrects herself "er, in the stars."
eastra -- in the norse pagan tradition, is another name for frigga, the wife of odin and for whom friday is named.

wow. just when we thought we had seen everything -- the lunatics who make up the organized crime gang that calls itself the louisiana legislature reach a new low.
today, they had some freak called "hurricane chris" perform an inappropriate and lurid rap song: "halle berry shes fine" from the house floor.
not one so called representative would stand up and say "hey - turn that shit off in here."
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford says he's been having an affair and will resign as head of the Republican Governor's Association.
The married father of four emotionally apologized to his wife, staff and others after returning Wednesday from a trip to Argentina that followed a dayslong absence. He staff had said the Republican was hiking on the Appalachian Trail.

here is another video to help you to understand that its lobbyists and special interest groups and not the people that the louisiana legislature pays attention to and is working for.
on a side note - wst... has an interesting email exchange, that we've been meaning to get around to posting. the exchange is between rep. ligi and us.
the exchange, initiated by rep. ligi (who is a rino and a nut and bears a strong resemblance to michael chertoff) concerning his and another rino, liar rep. john schroder's recent vote for yet another rino, liar rep. bodi white's HB 569 the internet access tax, fee scam.
johnny duncan received a citation for this sign which reads "you might be a nigger!" the title of his book which the sign, displayed on the side of his automobile, was helping to advertise.
johnny duncan writes wst...:UPDATE: New Orleans--On Thursday parties reached a settlement in this case. The terms are confidential. The defense lawyer say that it was a business decision with the City of Amite categorically denying everything or any harm to Duncan.
Duncan countered that while he worked in the Colorado Department of Corrections, he met few convicted criminals who didn't categorically deny their crimes.
It is ironic that the only way to bring attention to the discriminatory practices of this small town police department is by the use of the "n word", a term originally used by traditional white racists to denigrate black slaves.
The settlement of this case gives the Black citizens of Amite hope that they can prevail against the conditions here.
On Tuesday June 16, 2009, they met with the police department to voice complaints about the tactics and harassment of policemen.
Chief Trabona defended the officers as only doing their job. The crowd was told to pursue legal action if they felt they were illegally treated.
Little did those in attendance know that two days later Duncan would prevail in a precedent setting case against the police department for the very reasons that they were then in session.

future trends forecaster, gerald celente 18 june 2009 interview by tommy schnurmacher (the tommy schnurmacher show) on cjad news talk radio 800 am, montreal, canada, predicts a rough road ahead for the united states.
"the american people have lost their dignity and respect. they revolt against nothing. they become so complacent, they just roll-over and they continue to vote for a lesser of two evils. what a moronic statement to live by ... how can anybody survive like that? and that whats happened in this country. the people have become docile. i dont know if its from the food they're eating or the junk they're watching, but there is absolutely no resistance." ~ gerald celente "obamageddon"
near the end of day 32 of the 2009 regular louisiana legislative session, state representative and speaker pro tempore, karen carter peterson used a personal privilege to complain about an incident that happened to her earlier in the day when she was over in the house judiciary committee meeting where she was carrying the water for senator mike walsworth and his SB 279 incidentally a bill on emergency preparedness.
rep. peterson woz freakin cuz seated next to her was louisiana department of social services secretary, kristy nichols, who was just coffin an weezin something awful. it was a veritable "outbreak" of coffin. it was so bad, that sec'y nichols blurted out famous last words: "i dont have the swine flu."
oops not so fast .... come to find out (later in the day when the test results finally came back, although sec'y levine let it slip that they had known since that morning) sec'y nichols (and four others in dss) did (or does) have the swine flu!
this led minutes later to a suspension of the house rules to allow department of health and hospitals sec'y alan levine and doctor jimmy guidry, the state health officer of louisiana, to come on the house floor and answer some questions.
HB 569 the bill by rino bodi white to tax internet access in louisiana was deferred by the senate committee on commerce, consumer protection and international affairs.

the raw dashcam footage is here length 8:06.
a couple of weeks ago we read a story linked from the red dirt report, an oklahoma state news website, that the district attorney declined to file any charges.
at the end of her 11 june 2009, appearance on the c-span washington journal program, louisiana's senior senator, who had recently met with supreme court justice nominee judge sonia sotomayor, was asked what were her impressions the judge.
the senator also said that governor piyush "bobby" jindal needs to stay home in louisiana; that before the legislative session started he was "all over, everywhere," and that louisiana "really needs a governor to stay focused."
the entire interview is available on c-span here length 29:44.
jpfo: "no guns for negroes" this hard-hitting examination into the roots of gun control exposes the agenda for what it is. racist in origin, perpetuated by bigots and packaged in candy coated sound bites to dupe america into giving up our freedom.

on thursday, 11 june 2009, the louisiana state house of representatives debated house bill no. 626 a bill about traffic / speed limits that provides for disposition of fines for certain traffic tickets.
this bill was authored by rep. hollis downs, a major rino and if being a rino isnt bad enough, rep. downs looks to be in the pocket of the australians and their redflex traffic systems redlight scamera company.
anyway, during the floor debate, rep. jeff arnold who aint no paragon of virtue himself, proposed a germane amendment -- amendment no. #4015 (333b) which would have prohibited automated traffic enforcement systems -- redlight scameras.
