radio free oklahoma airs from wtprn every saturday from 6 pm - 8 pm central time. one of radio free oklahoma's co-founders is andrew west griffin. mr. griffin was a long time reporter for the gannett/alexandria daily town talk.

in the first hour of the 05 july 2008 show, mr. griffin interviewed tom parker from lafayette, louisiana. mr. parker is a political watcher who has a television program called 'freedom forum i' that airs every wednesday at 8pm central time on the acadiana open channel.

in this clip, mr. parker recounts how sb312 lake charles democrat willie mount's mandatory water fluoridation scheme, was slipped through the louisiana legislature before anyone knew what was happening.

this dangerous and immoral fluoridation scheme was snuck through the state house by monroe rino, kay 'bucket of bolts' katz.

some facts about fluoride
fluoride is a deadly poision - if you dont believe this then go to your bathroom and read the back of the tube of your fluoridated toothpaste, we will save you the trouble - this is what it says on the back of our toothpaste tube: crest pro-health - product serial no. (L) 710336EXPMR09 manufactured by proctor & gamble.
active ingredient: stannous fluoride 0.454% (0.16% w/v fluoride ion)
keep out of the reach of children. if more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away. directions adults and children 12 years and older...do not swallow...children under 12 years: ask a dentist.

fluoride is harmful to babies - for this reason alone mandatory fluoridation of louisiana's water supply as called for by lake charles democrat willie mount's sb312 should be vetoed

New Fluoride Warning for Infants

Does your drinking water contain added fluoride? If so, keep it away from infants under the age of one. This directive was issued recently by an unlikely source: the American Dental Association (ADA).

In a November 9th email alert sent to all of its members, the ADA noted that "Infants less than one year old may be getting more than the optimal amount of fluoride if their primary source of nutrition is powdered or liquid infant formula mixed with water containing fluoride." The ADA went on to advise: "If using a product that needs to be reconstituted, parents and caregivers should consider using water that has no or low levels of fluoride."

The ADA issued this advice because babies exposed to fluoridated water are at high risk for developing dental fluorosis—a defect of the teeth which can result in staining and even corrosion of the enamel. In addition, on October 14th, the Food and Drug Administration stated that fluoridated water marketed to infants cannot claim to reduce the risk of cavities.

Dental fluorosis is not the only risk stemming from a baby's exposure to fluoride. In the same week that ADA issued its advisory, an article in the British journal, The Lancet, reported that fluoride may damage a child's developing brain. The Lancet review described fluoride, along with the rocket fuel additive perchlorate, as an "emerging neurotoxic substance" due to evidence linking fluoride to lower IQs in children, and brain damage in animals.

"Newborn babies have undeveloped brains, and exposure to fluoride, a suspected neurotoxin, should be avoided," notes Hardy Limeback, a member of a 2006 National Research Council panel on fluoride toxicity, and former President of the Canadian Association of Dental Research. ~ source mothering magazine november 2006

Issue #30: Kidney & Liver Damage found in Fluoride-Exposed Children
by Michael Connett

A new study, to be published in the journal Environmental Research, adds further support to recent conclusions on fluoride toxicity by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). The study, conducted by a team of researchers at Tongji Medical College in China, suggests that fluoride exposure – at levels currently deemed safe by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – can damage both kidney and liver function in children (1).

Earlier this year, an NAS panel concluded that EPA’s safe drinking water standard for fluoride – currently set at 4 ppm - “should be lowered” due to evidence linking fluoride exposure at this level to multiple adverse effects on human health (2).

A new study from China, meanwhile, has detected evidence of kidney and liver disturbances in children drinking water with as little as 2 ppm fluoride -– half the level of fluoride currently deemed safe by the EPA.

According to the authors, “our results suggest that drinking water fluoride levels over 2.0 mg/L (ppm) can cause damage to liver and kidney function in children...” ~ read more

Fluoride & the Kidneys:
Kidney disease markedly increases an individual's susceptibility to fluoride toxicity.

The kidneys are responsible for ridding the body of ingested fluoride, and thereby preventing the buildup of toxic levels of fluoride in the body.

In healthy adults, the kidneys are able to excrete approximately 50% of an ingested dose of fluoride.

However, in adults with kidney disease the kidneys may excrete as little as 10 to 20% of an ingested dose - thus increasing the body burden of fluoride and increasing an individual's susceptibility to fluoride poisoning (e.g. renal osteodystrophy).

The bone changes commonly found among patients with advanced kidney disease closely resemble the bone changes found among individuals with the osteomalacic-type of skeletal fluorosis. This raises the possibility that some individuals with kidney disease are suffering from undiagnosed skeletal fluorosis.
[...]
Because the kidney accumulates more fluoride than all other soft tissues (with the exception of the pineal gland), there is concern that excess fluoride exposure may contribute to kidney disease - thus initiating a "vicious cycle" where the damaged kidneys increase the accumulation of fluoride, causing in turn further damage to the kidney, bone, and other organs.

The possibility that fluoride exposure can cause direct damage to kidney tissue is supported by a long line of animal and human studies.

In studies on fluoride-exposed animals, kidney damage has been reported at levels as low as 1 ppm if the animals consume the water for long periods of time. ~ read more

these are just a few of the many examples of the scientific research into hazards of ingesting fluoride. more are archived at www.fluoridealert.org -- furthermore, the louisiana legislature and if he signs sb312 into law, governor piyush "bobby" jindal are forcing a medicine on ALL the citizens of louisiana. this is something that a doctor cannot do to ANY citizen in louisiana. a doctor cannot force an individual to take medicine without their informed consent.

just as nancy reagan made the leap in the early '80's that if you buy illegal drugs you are supporting terrorists then if you do not contact the governor and ask him to veto sb312 you are aiding and abetting the poisoning of our babies and harming fellow louisianaians health. please click here and ask the governor to veto sb312 before its too late.
