138th running of the kentucky derby

(5) the 138th run for the roses

before the race we were pulling for the #7 horse "rousing sermon" -- the show horse of the 99th louisiana derby. however, after the race began we were really hoping that the #6 horse "bodemeister" would pull it off by going the distance. even so, it was a very good race.
