this is the smoking gun letter (download your own copy here or here) from alexandria, la. city council president everett hobbs to mayor jacques roy in which he admits that "it was the decision of the majority of the council not to air said council meeting..." this was done in a non public meeting (think smoke filled back room) and thus appears to be a clear violation of public meetings law.
