bill clinton visits the uss makin island

a united states navy boatswain's mate pipes former u.s. president bill clinton aboard the uss makin island lhd 8.

according to the navy news release, clinton was on board uss makin island to attend a retirement ceremony for chief culinary specialist oscar flores.

chief flores worked for the clinton's at the white house and currently serves as their director of operations. (u.s. navy photo by chief mass communication specialist john lill/released)

also in attendance were sec'y of state hillary rodham clinton and chelsea clinton mezvinsky. ~ more photos
