In other news, the partners of Bordelon & Maxwell Development Co., LLC made application to the City of Alexandria for the re-zoning of (5+) acres at the rear of the Yorktown complex from C-2, General Commercial District to a (DUC) Diverse Use Corridor. This re-zoning would allow us to plan Phase II in a fashion that could incorporate “high end” patio homes and a jogging trail into the planned development. We look forward to feed back from the surrounding community, specifically adjacent owners in the Georgetown Subdivision.
