asked the Jindal campaign Thursday to stop distributing the stickers with the school’s nickname on them. “The use of it in a political campaign may suggest that we’re supporting a particular candidate,” said the university’s spokeswoman, Julie Simon-Dronet.
Jindal did not return a call seeking comment.
His press secretary, Melissa Sellers, said Thursday the campaign is out of the “Ragin’ Cajuns for Jindal” stickers.
She would not answer a question on whether more stickers will be ordered. Sellers said the campaign will not be printing additional “Tigers for Jindal” bumper stickers.
